John Dwyer, Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire, reacts to the terrorist attacks in Brussels today
Commenting, John said:
"My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims of these atrocities in Brussels who will now have to cope with the trauma caused by these explosions. What has happened today reinforces the need for all of us to remain vigilant as we go about our daily routines.
It is at times like these when we all appreciate having strong police services to protect and support us in times of need. This is what I have been doing in the three years I have been in post as the safety of our local communities is of paramount importance to me.
I'll always do all I can to ensure Cheshire is as safe as possible in an increasingly uncertain world."
